Conceptual food photo illustration for The New York Times. The image was created for an editorial story about procrastibaking. Procrastibaking is the action of procrastinating by baking. I conceptualized the image in collaboration with the art director from New York, the photo production was done in my Vancouver commercial studio on richards st. We used on hard light as key light giving a beautiful hard shadow to the cupcake. This editorial still life image was edited using photoshop and capture one with a wacom tablet. All the products used in this photograph was sourced in Vancouver, Canada.
