Break A Leg - Conceptual Animation by © Jens Kristian Balle
"Break a leg" is a typical English idiom used in theatre to wish a performer "good luck". ... The expression probably reflects a superstition (perhaps a theatrical superstition) in which directly wishing a person "good luck" would be considered bad luck, therefore an alternative way of wishing luck was developed.
This contemporary piece was created as a fun piece to wish everyone good luck in these tough times.
The animation was made while being in isolation during the Corona pandemic, so technically it also a self-protrait and that would be my first self-portrait in my portfolio. It only took a global world crisis to make that happen.
Have been working more with animations lately too and have more to share in the coming weeks.
Stay safe and healthy everyone!
